I work from an integrative framework, drawing from psychodynamic and humanistic theory and integrating developmental & attachment theories as ways of understanding relational patterns, unconscious processes, and how the past informs the present.
An overarching approach of mindful awareness encourages presence, greater self-acceptance and compassion by paying attention to immediate embodied experience, or 'felt sense', and supporting natural, intuitive change.
As we reflect on your past and present, your relational patterns and your ways of being in the world, space can be created to process the thoughts and feelings that arise and to explore pathways toward positive change.
Through this process, therapy can help you to work through your difficulties, review your strengths and challenges and feel more connected, allowing for a greater sense of freedom in everyday life.
